A responsible attitude toward natural resources, the limitation of climate change and stopping the increase of environmental pollution are important to us.
The TraffiC GmbH faces up to this responsibility for years. We recover and utilize waste heat of our digital printing systems since 2008. For that the exhaust heat is transformed into heating energy by a central heat exchanger which than is also used for our hot water preparation. By this enhanced energy efficiency we reduce and optimize the usage of natural resources in our production process. In Germany we are the first print provider using and recycling the exhaust heat of our XEROX iGen Systems in this responsible manner.
For us green is NOT just a spot color. Sustainability means to optimize the usage of available resources, for a healthy environment and a better life. We only use truly chemistry- and water-free plates for our offset processes. The papers we use for your orders are from FSC and PEPC certified forestries only.
Around 30% of our power requirements are generated CO2-neutral with solar power from our own roof. As we decided to extend our production plant in 2007 it was planned from the beginning to use the power of the sun to generate energy. With an average 1200 hours of sunshine per year, such a solar power system really makes sense in Northern Germany. For this reason we installed a photovoltaic system in 2007, which feeds solar-generated electricity into the grid since than. So we could use the roof of our production plant for our positive energy balance in a useful manner.
